Canada to lead World Meteorological Organization - again

So a Canadian was re-elected to lead this world-wide organization. Given the importance of weather forecasting and research, I'd say this is a bit of a feather in his cap - wouldn't you?

Canada will lead the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for a second four-year term and will be represented by David Grimes, the head of Environment Canada’s Meteorological Service. Mr. Grimes was re-elected without ballot as WMO President yesterday in Geneva, Switzerland, by his peers from the 191 Member states and Territories.
