Lake Erie a hot spot for Great Lakes vampires

I was worried that there was some sort of aquatic gathering of Twilight fans, but no - it's just about lampreys. I actually think that the Twilight thing would have been (marginally) less worrisome.

Blood-sucking sea lampreys in Lake Erie are at least five times more abundant than scientists would like, making Lake Erie the worst in the Great Lakes now for the invasive eel-like fish, Mike Steeves, of the Sea Lamprey Control Centre with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, said Wednesday.
