Exoplanet weather detected by Canadian astronomers

I am amazed where science has gone since I got my Ph.D. When I was grad school the first extra-solar planet was discovered - around a pulsar IIRC. Now, we are detecting weather on some of the many extra-solar planets that have been detected. I'm not going to bet against anything when it comes to where we might go in the future.

Using that data, Esteves, a PhD student in astronomy at the University of Toronto, and her collaborators were able to get information about the weather on six giant planets, ranging in size from half the mass of Jupiter to about double the mass of Jupiter.
