April 21 is DNA Day in Canada - hug a double helix today!

If you can't, just find a carbon-based lifeform to hug instead.

Note that the link also has a link to a video of our S&T minister discussing the importance of DNA day.

The day includes four live virtual Q&A sessions with Canadian experts. Three of those sessions are text-based chats while the other is a live Google Hangout with experts Jay Ingram, Dr. Francois Bernier and Dr. Carolyn Fitzsimmons. The experts will discuss genetics questions submitted by students and members of the public.
