Shell and Telus World of Science team up to explain carbon capture technology

Neat. Kinda wish I could see it - I'd like to learn more about the subject (and see how they treat the issue of climate change as a driver for carbon capture).

The exhibit, the size of a freight elevator, explains the problem of carbon dioxide emissions and simulates an underground descent of more than two kilometres into a rock formation, where the carbon from Shell’s Quest project will be sequestered.

“It’s a starting point for a larger exploration and conversation of the science and technology and engineering of the energy sector in Alberta,” Telus World of Science president and CEO Alan Nursall said.
