Creationist conservatives make themselves targets

It's odd. Normally I'm a live-and-live kinda person, and I really don't care about a person's religous views. And I wish I could be thus in politics. Unfortunatly, a person's deeply-held religous views can show up in areas other than truth, justice and social equality, and move into areas such as school cirriculum and climate change. And that's a problem.

“The whole evolution thing has blown up in North America in a ridiculous way. I don’t think there is any reason why Christians can’t believe in evolution, and throughout the world, a lot of Christians do,” he said.

However, the topic seems to be remain contentious among fundamentalists, and evangelical Christians in particular.
