The researcher has pointed out that milkweed may be actually serve a very useful purpose. This plant can help feed monarchs. These highly colorful butterflies are much loved in many areas of North America. They have also been noted to be in decline. Research has suggested that milkweed may be necessary in order to help provide food for the elegant butterflies. He is urging government officials to take more steps to conserve milkweed and help the butterflies.
