Cape Breton coastal erosion a growing problem

I wanted to say that this was eating away at somebody, but it seemed not respectful for the people affected.

he group is doing a study in the area. Project coordinator Ashley Shelton said ACAP is suggesting natural solutions, like leaving native vegetation on the bank and a strip of natural growth along the shoreline.

”We’re focusing on using vegetation solutions and soft approaches to reduce the impacts to neighbouring properties but also focusing on using native vegetation and natural ecosystem management practices that can help adapt to coastal erosion,” said Shelton.
