UBC receives $1.7 million from CFI

Fourteen projects at the University of British Columbia have received a combined $1.7 million in federal funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation.

Research ranging from epilepsy risk to greener fuels will split the funding from CFI’s John R. Evans Leaders Fund, which is allocated to post-secondary institutions across Canada to amplify faculty recruitment efforts.
