Fossil discoveries point to life in Canada long before humans

What is especially interesting to me is that the animals show a transition from one type to another - they are filling in gaps. This is exciting given that creationists point to the lack of these types of fossils as an argument against evolution.

At a time when all animals were still restricted to the sea, it’s not exactly migrating onto land, says Dave Rudkin, an invertebrate paleontologist at the Royal Ontario Museum, but “it’s a step in that direction.”
