The Chrysler Foundation Awards $25,000 Grant to the SAE Foundation Canada to Support STEM Education

Look - I know they aren't doing this out of the goodness of their corporate heart (is that even a thing?), but the phrase "ensure the technical competency of the future talent pool" really really bugs me. Still, nice to see the contribution.

“In order to succeed in the society of tomorrow, all children need to understand and apply STEM concepts in a real-world integrated setting. Participating in AWIM teaches them to solve complex problems, communicate clearly, raise questions, assimilate information and work cooperatively toward common goals. We are grateful to The Chrysler Foundation for its support of critically important STEM programs such as AWIM,” commented Lori Gatmaitan, Director, SAE Foundation.
