Canadian thalidomide survivors push Ottawa for help

It's clear that we should help these people for suffering caused by a licensed drug, but I can see a fight brewing given that they were given money (albeit a trifling sum) a number of years ago.

The Thalidomide Victims Association of Canada says the remaining 95 or so thalidomide survivors are not seeking compensation; they simply want financial support to help with their health and mobility problems.
