Rare fossil showcased in St. John's museum

I dunno - do you really think that naming the remains of something dead after a demon is a good idea? Thinking curse of the mummy here (yes, I know that the curse is balderdash, but you still get the idea)

You can see why the researchers who discovered this fossil, hailed as the only one of its kind in the world, named it after an aboriginal word meaning demon. Haootia quadriformis (pronounced hay-oo-TEE’-ah quadruh-FORM’-iss) is believed to be the earliest evidence of animal muscle tissue in the geological record.
